The Alliance is made up of 28 members, including companies that develop carbon projects, non-profit organizations that work for the regional development of Amazonian communities and the integrity of the carbon market, and impact investors.

Agrocortex is a project totally aimed at implementing sustainable management of tropical forests using low-impact management of the forests under its operation. The aim is to implement tropical forest management projects taking into account their ecological aspect, protecting and maintaining the natural resources under management, their social aspect, distributing income, mitigating and integrating the local populations under management and their economic aspect, generating income and valuing forest resources, in order to protect and manage these forests in a sustainable and lasting way.

The Ambipar Environment aims to be the world’s best Nature Based Solutions (NBS) company, generating value for the environmental asset market, fighting climate change, protecting biodiversity and promoting well-being and social development.

Bio Assets was founded in 2000 to become one of the leading Brazilian companies involved in generating carbon credits through the development of forest conservation and renewable energy projects. The projects developed always aim to achieve the highest ESG standards, to quantify carbon benefits, environmental and social “co-benefits”.

Biofix Consultoria is based in Brazil and Colombia and has certified REDD+ projects in the Colombian and Brazilian Amazon, as well as a certified project on Bananal Island, Tocantins. Its activities include ensuring the conservation and sustainable use of forests, improving the quality of life of forest workers and accompanying companies in the management of their emissions.

BRCarbon (BRC) promotes natural climate solutions with financial resources from the carbon market to mitigate global warming. It works with innovative strategies and technologies to make forest conservation, ecological restoration and sustainable agriculture possible.

Founded in 2011, BVRio is a non-profit organization that works at the intersection of economic, environmental and social sustainability. Our mission is to create and promote innovative market solutions for the benefit of the economy, the environment and society as a whole. BVRio (originally called Bolsa Verde do Rio de Janeiro) was created with the aim of developing market solutions to facilitate compliance with Brazilian environmental legislation. Over the years, they have expanded their activities internationally, adapting the models and approaches developed in Brazil to offer market solutions and economic tools in more than 50 countries.

Carbonext conserves more than 1.6 million hectares of Amazon rainforest that are at risk of deforestation. All this preservation effort turns into carbon credits that are sold to individuals and companies. All of Carbonext’s projects are verified by Verra, using the VCS standard.

Conservation International (CI-Brazil) aims to encourage and support environmental conservation and sustainable development activities, promote environmental education, human welfare, social assistance and culture, working on the conservation of priority areas in the Amazon, Cerrado, Atlantic Forest and oceans.

The ecosecurities is an environmental services provider with more than two decades of experience in carbon markets and emission reduction projects around the world. They provide technical and financial services to projects, companies and organizations. With a rapidly growing portfolio of projects, ecosecurities offers expertise and tailor-made services in sourcing, developing and financing climate mitigation projects. To support the net-zero transition they work with renewable energy projects, nature-based solutions (NBS) and community-based programs.

With 22 years of existence, Ekos is a reference in its work on conservation and planning projects for natural areas, technical training in environmental recovery, structuring and operating sustainable investments, and promoting technical and scientific exchanges between Brazilian and international organizations.

Founded in 2008 and based in Manaus/AM, the Sustainable Amazon Foundation (FAS) is a non-profit civil society organization that works on projects focused on education, entrepreneurship, sustainable tourism, innovation, health and other priority areas. By valuing the standing forest and its socio-biodiversity, FAS works to improve the quality of life of riverside, indigenous and peripheral communities in the Amazon.

Centro de Estudos Rioterra is an OSCIP founded in 1999, which develops research and projects in the southwest of the Brazilian Amazon, working with traditional populations, indigenous peoples, family farmers, governmental and non-governmental entities.
